We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to help us edit videos for our upcoming online course about Airbnb, short-term rentals, rent-to-rent and property management.
We will provide the filmed footage, and you will turn it into professional, engaging and educational course lessons.
Responsibilities include:
Editing long-form educational course videos
Removing mistakes, unnecessary sections, long pauses and repetition
Improving audio quality where necessary
Adding captions, text and graphics
Adding screen recordings, screenshots and visual elements where appropriate
Creating a consistent visual style across all course lessons
Following editing briefs and feedback from the course development team
Making revisions when required
Organising and exporting final videos in the correct format
Potentially creating short-form social media clips from course footage
The course will be taught by the founders, who have real-world experience in the Airbnb and property industry. Your role will be to make the footage clear, professional, engaging and easy for students to follow.
We are looking for someone who understands that educational content should be engaging without being overly flashy or distracting.
Requirements:
Previous experience editing educational, talking-head or online course videos
Strong understanding of pacing and storytelling
Ability to make educational content engaging while keeping it professional
Experience with professional video editing software
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow a brief and respond well to feedback
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
Bonus if you have experience with:

Social media content
Captions and motion graphics
