VAE Distributions is a Canadian Amazon FBA e-commerce company with an established, profitable operation on ---------- and a growing presence on ---------- , eBay, and Walmart. We specialize in online arbitrage and wholesale sourcing. We're a small, systems-driven team that values quality over quantity, clear communication, and VAs who can work independently.

We are now expanding our sourcing operation into the US marketplace, and we're hiring the sourcers who will lead it.

The Role

This is not a standard OA sourcing job, and it is not a beginner role.

You'll be sourcing profitable products for ---------- through online arbitrage, with a unique edge most sourcers never get to use: cross-border arbitrage. We buy from both US and Canadian retailers and sell into the US marketplace, which opens up pricing gaps that US-only sourcers can't touch. You'll evaluate leads against strict criteria, run quick country-of-origin checks for cross-border leads, and submit to our purchasing team for review.

The US marketplace is more competitive and more heavily gated than Canada. That's exactly why we want experienced, creative sourcers — people who find angles others miss, mine entire brands and storefronts instead of chasing isolated leads, and know when a gated product is still worth pursuing. What You'll Do
Source profitable products for ---------- through online arbitrage from both US and Canadian online retailers
Evaluate leads against defined profit, ROI, BSR, and competition thresholds before submission
Use SellersAmp and Keepa daily for product analysis and sales estimation
Exploit profitable discoveries by mining entire brands and stores for batches of related leads
Run quick country-of-origin checks on cross-border leads (we provide the simple rules — no tariff expertise needed)
Flag high-value gated leads with ungating potential instead of discarding them
Submit occasional wholesale/distributor inquiries using our CRM system and templates
Track your work in Google Sheets using our established workflows
Communicate with the team via ----------

Purchasing history is a strong asset — if you have experience making buy decisions, managing inventory levels, or placing purchase orders, you'll stand out.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of hands-on Amazon FBA sourcing experience, with real ---------- (US marketplace) experience
Expert-level Keepa skills — you can read BSR trends, price history, sales velocity, Buy Box behavior, and competition shifts without help
Strong working knowledge of SellersAmp (or equivalent sourcing tools)
Deep understanding of FBA fee structures and accurate profit/ROI calculation
Knows the difference between BSR rank and actual sales volume, and estimates conservatively
Creative sourcing ability — you have your own methods beyond basic reverse sourcing and storefront scanning
Comfortable working in Google Sheets
Strong written English communication skills
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
Self-motivated — you manage your own time and deliver results without constant supervision
Nice to Have

Compensation & Bonus Structure

Base pay: $5–6 USD/hour depending on experience, full time (40 hrs/week).

Bonuses start from day one. Every approved lead earns a performance bonus based on the monthly profit it generates. The structure heavily rewards high-quality leads — a single Gold or Platinum lead is worth more than dozens of Bronze leads.

There is no ceiling on bonus earnings. Your bonus is never denied for missing a quota or approval percentage — it is purely additive.

Realistic total earnings: A solid full-time month lands between $900 and $1,150+ USD (base plus typical bonuses of $100–$300+). Our top Canadian-marketplace sourcers earn well beyond that range — the bonus scales directly with the quality of what you find, and there is no cap.

We also offer a 13th-month bonus for tea ---------- mbers who meet performance targets.

Hiring Process
Application review — We'll review your experience and responses
Paid test (2 hours) — A short, paid practical assessment to evaluate your sourcing and evaluation skills using real products
Paid trial (1 week) — Work with our team, tools, and SOPs in a real environment
Join the US expansion team — The first 3 months are the launch phase of our US program. Perform well and you become a permanent member of a growing team, with the same long-term growth our Canadian sourcers have had
