About the Role

Location: Remote (Global)
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $1,000 USD per month
Hours: 9AM-5PM EST Monday-Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you passionate about social media content, leading trainings on editing and social media, and coaching others?

Upperhand Creative is looking for a Content Creator Talent & Development Manager to lead, coach, and grow our network of world-class editors (we call them Content Specialists). This is a leadership, talent-development, and quality-assurance role, not a hands-on editing position. You will own the editor recruiting and development system from end to end: this includes managing and improving the recruiting system, training programs and certifications, and supporting the ongoing relationship between the client and the editor to ensure our clients receive exceptional social content and our content specialists feel supported and challenged.

If you have a sharp eye for high-performing social content, the ability to evaluate editing quality and brand alignment, and a proven track record of coaching people to their highest potential, we want you to lead our talent community.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Protect Client and Specialist Satisfaction: Maintain exceptional satisfaction scores by ensuring clients are matched with the right talent and Content Specialists receive the support, clarity, and development they need to succeed.

Lead Recruiting and Placement: Own the recruiting pipeline. Screen applicants, evaluate test projects, conduct interviews, and maintain a deep, placement-ready bench of vetted Content Specialists to meet client demand quickly.

Maintain World-Class Standards: Define, teach, and inspect editing quality, storytelling, social-media trend awareness, brand alignment, and professionalism.

Drive Training and Development: Lead our Editor School and Elite Editor Academy. Conduct scheduled 30-, 90-, and 180-day performance evaluations, deliver actionable coaching, and make evidence-based decisions on tier progression.

Build an Elite Community: Cultivate an active, professional mastermind environment where Content Specialists share knowledge, learn from one another, and take pride in their work.

Continuously Improve the System: Proactively identify friction in our recruiting, training, and placement workflows. Test new AI tools, workflow improvements, and community programming to elevate the entire ecosystem.

WHO YOU ARE:
A Coach and Developer: You have experience in leadership, management, training, or quality assurance within a social-content or creative environment. You know how to diagnose performance gaps and give actionable feedback.

Social-Content Fluent: You aren't necessarily the most technically advanced After Effects editor, but you absolutely know what strong, high-performing social content looks like. You stay current on platform trends and can translate them into practical standards.

A Strong Judge of Talent: You can distinguish portfolio polish from true readiness, and you make disciplined, fair decisions regarding recruiting, placement, and tier advancement.

A Systems Thinker: You don't wait for leadership to tell you what to fix. You turn recurring problems and client feedback into better processes, training, and operating rhythms.

An Exceptional Communicator: You communicate expectations, feedback, and decisions clearly and professionally with candidates, tea ---------- mbers, and clients.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: $1,000 USD per month.
Flexibility: 100% remote work—you have the freedom to work from anywhere.
Impact: The opportunity to build and lead an elite creative community and directly influence the quality of content delivered to high-profile clients.

If you're interested, please respond back with the subject line "I am the one!" and include a link to your work. Tell me why we should hire you!
