Ecommerce Graphic Designer – Toy Lifestyle Compositing Specialist (Photoshop Expert)

Location: Remote (Full-Time)

Flybar is looking for a detail-obsessed Graphic Designer who specializes in toy packaging design and instruction manuals.
Your job is to make our products stand out on the shelf and be incredibly easy to understand once opened. You combine strong design fundamentals with Photoshop expertise and smart use of AI tools to create visuals that are both attractive and functional.

You understand that great packaging sells the product, and great instructions prevent returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design toy packaging boxes that are visually engaging, brand-aligned, and retail-ready.
• Create clear, easy-to-follow instruction manuals using strong layout, icons, and visual hierarchy.
• Use Adobe Photoshop to enhance product images and create compelling packaging visuals.
• Generate and refine images using AI tools (Weavy, NanoBanana, etc), while ensuring accuracy and consistency with the actual product.
• Develop packaging layouts based on dielines and prepare files for print production.
• Ensure all designs appeal to both kids (fun, exciting) and parents (clear, trustworthy, safe-looking).
• Revise designs based on feedback and production requirements.
• Maintain organized files and ensure all outputs meet print and digital specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in packaging design, preferably for toys or consumer products.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop (image editing, compositing, layout support).
• Experience designing instruction manuals or user guides with clear visual communication.
• Familiarity with AI image generation tools and ability to refine outputs professionally.
• Understanding of print production, dielines, bleed, color profiles, and packaging constraints.
• Strong layout and typography skills.
• Ability to simplify complex instructions into clean, visual steps.
• High attention to detail and consistency.

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with toy brands or children-focused products.
• Basic illustration skills (icons, diagrams, characters).
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.
• Knowledge of Amazon packaging requirements or retail compliance.
• 3D mockups or packaging visualization experience.
