Role Overview
As a Junior Web & Front-end Designer, you will support the design and development of engaging digital experiences across our platform. This is a hands-on learning opportunity ideal for someone early in their career, looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and iterating on web pages, landing pages, and email layouts.
  • Contribute to the UI/UX design process for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Support frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Help build and maintain client websites using platforms like Squarespace, including implementing updates and changes.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visual content and digital assets.
  • Work alongside product and development teams to execute design-related initiatives.
  • Apply brand styling and design systems across different digital touch-points with guidance.
  • Assist in optimizing existing pages for responsiveness, performance, and user engagement.
  • Participate in wire-framing, prototyping, and design feedback sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.

Ideal Candidate

  • 0–3 years of experience in web or UI/UX design (internships or freelance work welcome).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of design principles.
  • Comfortable using Figma or similar design tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch, etc.).
  • Has good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Has good knowledge of source control (i.e. Git), and Chrome browser debugging
  • Familiar with responsive design principles and accessibility best practices.
  • A good eye for layout, typography, and color.
  • Eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow within a startup environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and work well within a remote, collaborative team.
