About the Role

Interior Design & FF&E Assistant (Full-Time, Remote)

Hours: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

About the Role
We are a dynamic and fast-growing company looking for a proactive and versatile Interior Design & FF&E Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented design professional who combines creative capability with strong coordination and administrative instincts.

You'll support the studio across interior design, FF&E procurement, project administration, and financial coordination — helping projects run smoothly from concept through installation. Both sides of the role carry equal weight, and you'll work directly with the principals with real room to grow with the studio.

What You'll Do
Design Support
Assist with the development of interior design concepts, presentations, and design documentation
Prepare mood boards, finish palettes, reference dockets, and client presentation materials
Support re-specs, material and finish selections, and ad hoc design exercises as projects demand
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the design process

FF&E Procurement & Project Coordination
Source furniture, lighting, fixtures, accessories, and finishes
Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications, and procurement documentation
Track lead times, production schedules, and deliveries, and coordinate installation dates with clients
Resolve procurement, logistics, and vendor issues proactively, keeping records and budgets accurate

Invoicing & Administration
Send client invoices and follow up professionally on outstanding payments
Assist with expense tracking, financial documentation, and project cost reporting
Maintain organized digital project files and administrative documentation

Website & Social Media
Maintain and develop the studio's Squarespace website including portfolio updates, imagery, and copy
Create and manage social media content consistent with the studio's aesthetic

Tools You'll Use
Revit — highly desirable; strong candidates in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools also considered
Squarespace — website management
Excel / Google Sheets
QuickBooks — a plus

What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of professional experience in an interior design or architecture studio, or in a role assisting designers
A portfolio demonstrating residential or hospitality work
Exposure to FF&E procurement, purchasing, or project coordination within a design office
Working knowledge of Revit is highly desirable; AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools also considered
Experience supporting U.S.-based clients or working with U.S. design firms is strongly preferred
Fluent written and spoken English with confident, professional client and vendor communication
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous projects
Proactive and independent: brings solutions, learns quickly, and stays flexible when priorities shift

What We Offer
Full-time, long-term role
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid U.S. holiday leaves
Medical stipend after 3 months
Opportunity to grow into expanded responsibility over time
Clear opportunities for growth and professional development
Collaborative, supportive, and people-first work environment
