As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Finance & ERP Operations Specialist to strengthen our back office operations. This is a senior-level position for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working with financial processes, ERP systems, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with one of our senior back office tea ---------- mbers and play a key role in ensuring that our finance operations run efficiently and accurately.

Position Overview

As our Senior Finance & ERP Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing critical day-to-day finance and operational processes. This includes managing sales orders, invoices, accounts receivable, purchase orders, project costing, timesheet allocations, and daily bank postings.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Management Controller, Senior Accountant, or in a similar senior finance position. While experience with Odoo is preferred, we understand that experienced Odoo professionals are difficult to find. Candidates with strong experience using other ERP systems are highly encouraged to apply.

Beyond executing daily operations, we are looking for someone who can identify process improvements, maintain financial accuracy, and contribute to building efficient internal workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations

• Review and approve sales orders.
• Manage outgoing invoices and monitor accounts receivable.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
• Process incoming supplier invoices and allocate costs to the correct client or internal projects.
• Review and post daily bank transactions while maintaining accurate financial records.

ERP & Project Management

• Manage project costing and ensure expenses are allocated correctly.
• Assign employee timesheets to the appropriate projects and internal budgets where manual allocation is required.
• Review automated project allocations and ensure their accuracy.
• Implement and manage purchase orders.
• Match incoming supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.

Back Office Operations

• Work closely with the finance and operations team to maintain efficient internal processes.
• Ensure financial records remain complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Support month-end operational activities and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and internal controls.
• Collaborate with different departments to resolve operational and financial matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior finance, accounting, or back office operations role.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Management Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
• Accounts Receivable

• Purchase Orders
• Bank Reconciliations

• Financial Operations
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Experience with Odoo is preferred but not required. We value strong ERP experience, whether it comes from SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Sage, Odoo, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an international team.
