Construction Estimator (Full-time, US Construction)

About Us
We are a general contractor based in California specializing in residential, commercial, and public works projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven Construction Estimator to support our Estimating and Project Management team.

This is a full-time, long-term remote position working US business hours (4:00 AM – 1:00 PM Philippine Time). While prior experience is preferred, we are ready to train the right high-potential candidate who possesses strong analytical skills and a drive to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimation & Takeoffs: Review Scope of Work (SOW), perform accurate material/labor takeoffs, and build estimates for final review.
• Subcontractor Management: Issue bid invitations for commercial projects, conduct subcontractor outreach, and evaluate incoming quotes and proposals.
• Bid Submission: Assemble and submit polished bids and proposals directly to clients.
• Process Improvement: Maintain, refine, and optimize bid templates, project budgets, and proposal documents.
• Project Hand-off: Prepare turnover documentation, contracts, and hand-off files once projects are awarded.

Requirements

• Experience: Background in construction estimating or project management (preferably with a US-based general contractor).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (data management, complex formulas, and templates). Experience with takeoff software like Bluebeam is highly preferred.
• US Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with US construction standards, terminology, and workflows.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, outside-the-box thinking, and rapid learning ability.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
