Social Media Proxy Setup Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled Virtual Assistant to assist with project-based social media infrastructure setup. Your primary responsibility will be configuring proxies and mobile devices used for social media account management.

This is not a full-time position. Work is assigned on a project-by-project basis, with opportunities for additional projects based on performance.

Responsibilities
Configure residential or mobile proxies for social media accounts.
Set up and test Android and iPhone devices with assigned proxy configurations.
Verify IP addresses, geolocation, and connection stability.
Troubleshoot proxy authentication, networking, and connectivity issues.
Configure proxy settings using approved software and tools.
Assist with remote device setup and testing.
Document completed device and proxy configurations.
Ensure devices are properly configured before being used for social media operations.
Communicate progress and report any technical issues encountered during setup.
Qualifications
Experience configuring residential, ISP, or mobile proxies.
Familiarity with Android and iOS devices.
Understanding of:
HTTP/SOCKS5 proxies
IP addresses
DNS
VPNs vs. proxies
Basic networking concepts
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and follow written SOPs.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter ), Facebook , or other social media platforms.
Experience configuring multiple mobile devices.
Familiarity with remote access software such as AnyDesk, RustDesk, AirDroid, or TeamViewer.
Basic spreadsheet or inventory management experience.
Project Structure
This is a project-based contract position.
Projects are assigned as needed rather than on a fixed weekly schedule.
Each project will have clearly defined objectives and deliverables.
Payment will be agreed upon before work begins.
Reliable contractors may receive recurring projects.
