Podcast Video and Audio Editor

We're seeking a skilled freelance podcast editor to join our team and help us deliver high-quality video and audio podcast content for our clients.

What You'll Be Editing

• Video podcasts: In-person recordings with multiple audio and video tracks
• Audio-only podcasts: Clean, polished audio content
• Virtual recordings: Content captured via Zoom, Riverside, and similar platforms
• Episode length: Typically 30-50 minutes per episode

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce podcast episodes from raw footage/audio to final delivery
• Create engaging intro sequences featuring episode highlights
• Design and implement lower third animations throughout episodes
• Maintain consistency with client branding guidelines and visual standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Ensure quality edited podcasts by reviewing them before submitting for internal review
• Collaborate with our team through project management tools

Timeline Expectations

• Turnaround time: 2-3 days per episode
• Workload: 10-15 hours per week (with potential for growth)
• Schedule: Flexible hours - work on your own time, just meet deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

• Essential: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proven experience editing both video and audio podcast content
• Strong understanding of multi-track audio mixing and video synchronization
• Experience with motion graphics and lower thirds creation
• Knowledge of podcast production workflows and best practices
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently
