We're looking for a creative YouTube Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist who understands how to keep viewers engaged, increase watch time, and produce videos that stand out in the tech space.

Position Overview

You will transform raw footage into engaging, fast-paced YouTube videos that educate, entertain, and convert viewers into customers. You'll create motion graphics, animations, sound design, and visual effects that enhance storytelling while maintaining our brand identity.

This is more than just cutting clips—we're looking for someone who understands YouTube retention, pacing, and viral editing.

Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
• Create engaging YouTube Shorts and social media reels
• Edit repair tutorials, educational content, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes videos
• Sync multiple camera angles and audio sources
• Color correction and color grading
• Audio cleanup and enhancement
• Add music, sound effects, and transitions

Motion Graphics

• Design animated titles and lower thirds
• Create custom callouts for electronic components
• Animate circuit diagrams and repair processes
• Build branded intros and outros
• Design engaging YouTube subscribe animations
• Create logo animations
• Produce infographic animations
• Create kinetic typography
• Design custom HUD-style technology graphics
• Develop recurring visual elements for our brand

YouTube Optimization

• Edit with audience retention in mind
• Understand pacing and storytelling
• Create engaging cold opens/hooks
• Add pattern interrupts every few seconds
• Utilize zooms, overlays, graphics, and b-roll effectively
• Create chapter transitions
• Work with thumbnail designers when needed
• Assist with title and thumbnail ideas

Tech Content Enhancement

A strong interest in technology is highly preferred.

You'll be expected to learn:

• Smartphone repair terminology
