On Camera Virtual Receptionist

We are seeking reliable and polished Virtual Receptionists to support our U.S.-based salons. This is a remote independent contractor role for individuals who communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and can manage multiple tasks at once. This is an on-screen position, and you are required to be on camera for the full duration of any worked hours with a professional appearance and a quiet, distraction-free workspace. Your on-screen presence is an essential part of the guest experience.

In this role, you will answer and route calls, respond to email s and messages, share basic information with clients, take detailed messages, schedule and adjust appointments, check team availability, update client records, maintain call logs, prepare simple reports, collect feedback through short surveys, and respond to real-time questions from clients and staff. You will follow established scripts and procedures, work across multiple software platforms simultaneously, and remain responsive and engaged throughout your shift while staying on camera with clear audio and stable video.

To succeed in this role, you must speak and write clearly in English, learn systems quickly, remain calm during busy periods, and communicate consistently. Technical requirements include reliable high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps, a device with at least 12 GB of RAM, a functioning camera and microphone, and a professional workspace suitable for being on screen. You must be available to work U.S. hours, which may include evenings or weekends.

We prefer candidates with experience in customer service, call centers, scheduling, or administrative support, though strong communication skills and a professional on-screen presence are most important. This is a remote contractor role; you will invoice for your hours, maintain your own equipment and workspace, and work independently while following company procedures.
