Lead / Senior Full-Stack Developer (Platform Owner)

Experience: 8+ years professional software development, including 4+ years hands-on Salesforce development and proven experience owning production cloud infrastructure
Profile: A broad, deeply capable engineer comfortable across the full stack, from Salesforce front-end and Apex through to AWS-hosted Java services, web routing and document-processing pipelines. Acts as technical anchor for the platform.

Role Overview
Own and scale the Simploud platform end-to-end. Lead the Salesforce development lifecycle, manage AWS cloud infrastructure, and handle complex enterprise integrations and document-processing workflows. This person is the senior technical authority who can make architecture decisions and mentor the second developer.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop, customize and maintain core platform features using Salesforce Aura, LWC and Apex.
•Architect and implement robust, secure API integrations both from and to Salesforce.
•Deploy and manage Java applications on AWS EC2 instances running Tomcat.
•Configure and maintain web routing, Nginx servers and domain architectures.
•Implement and manage complex document-processing workflows using the Aspose SDK.
•Own features from technical design through deployment, ensuring scalability, security and clean, well-documented code.
•Manage source control and release flow via Git/GitHub, including code review for other contributors.
•Set and uphold engineering standards, and provide technical guidance to the Salesforce Developer.
Required Skills & Experience
•Strong, hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Aura).
•Deep understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP, bulk, platform events, authentication patterns).
•Solid backend experience with AWS EC2, Tomcat and Java applications.
•Clear understanding of network routing, Nginx configuration and domain management.
•Practical experience integrating and working with the Aspose SDK (or comparable document-processing libraries).
•Solid understanding of security best practices across cloud, application and integration layers.
•Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows (branching, PRs, code review, CI basics).
•Ownership mindset: able to take charge of projects and deliver results with minimal supervision.
•Communicative, expressive and highly articulate in English (written and spoken).
Advantageous (Nice-to-Have)
•Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SharePoint ecosystems.
•Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II).
•Experience in regulated / quality-driven software environments (e.g. life sciences, GxP, ISO) and disciplined change control.
•CI/CD tooling for Salesforce (e.g. SFDX, Gearset, Copado) and infrastructure scripting."
