Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our remote travel team. In this role, you will manage travel bookings from inquiry through to confirmation, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for clients.
This position also involves a strong customer service and sales component, where you will assist clients in choosing the best travel options and confidently convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries (flights, hotels, tours, and travel packages)
Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by actively closing reservations
Provide accurate travel options, pricing, and recommendations based on client needs
Manage the full booking process from inquiry to payment confirmation
Assist with booking changes, cancellations, and rebookings
Create and maintain complete and accurate travel itineraries
Communicate with airlines, hotels, and travel suppliers when required
Follow up with clients to maximize booking conversions
Maintain accurate records in booking systems and CRM tools
Deliver excellent customer service while meeting performance and booking targets

Requirements:

Previous experience in travel reservations, airline ticketing, hotel bookings, or travel agency support
Background in sales, customer service, or telesales is highly preferred
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to confidently handle objections and close bookings
Experience with travel systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Expedia or similar is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in B2C or B2B travel sales or call center accounts
Knowledge of fare rules, ticketing processes, and travel policies
Experience handling OTA platforms (e.g., Expedia-type accounts)
CRM or booking system experience
Upselling experience in travel or hospitality industry
