About the Role

About ARDANT

ARDANT is a fast-scaling premium jewelery brand. We've grown quickly, and we're now raising the bar on everything a customer sees — because at our stage, "good enough" design quietly costs revenue. We're bringing email and retention in-house to own that quality ourselves instead of outsourcing it.

This is where you come in. Email is one of our biggest revenue levers, and right now our email design isn't matching the brand. We want someone who lives and breathes email design and can make every send look unmistakably ARDANT — polished, modern, premium — and convert.

The role in one line
Own the visual design of our email — layouts that are on-brand and built to convert — with the craft to extend into other eCommerce assets when we need it.

Copy and direction will be provided to you. Your job is to turn a brief into a beautiful, high-performing design. What you own is how it looks and how well that design converts.

Your north star
Click-through rate — specifically the design-driven side of it: the layout, visual hierarchy, hook, imagery, and CTA treatment that make people stop, read, and click. You'll be judged on whether your design decisions move CTR, not on copy or offer (those aren't yours to control).

What you'll do

Email — your primary focus (~70–80% of the work)
-Design campaign email s and lifecycle flow email s (welcome, post-purchase, launches) from copy briefs, on-brand every time
-Apply email design best practices: hierarchy, scannability, mobile-first layout, CTA placement, visual pacing — the things that actually drive clicks
-Bring subtle motion into email s where it lifts engagement (animated GIF / lightweight motion)
-Elevate our templates from "blocky and generic" to premium and distinctly ARDANT
-Hand off clean, build-ready design files (our team handles the Klaviyo build)

Other eCommerce graphics — as needed (~20–30%)
-Website banners and campaign bumpers
-PDP infographics and product-education / comparison graphics (Amazon A+–style)
-Launch and campaign visual assets
-Landing-page visuals (a plus if you have UX sensibility here)

Must-haves
-Proven eCommerce email design experience — a portfolio of email work for online retail/DTC brands, not just generalist graphic design
-Real Photoshop proficiency — hands-on layouting, compositing, and retouching. We want genuine craft, not designs propped up by AI tools
-Figma — comfortable designing and organising work here
-Motion / animated GIF ability for email
-Strong visual taste for a premium brand — modern, clean, considered; able to work from a brand bible and stay consistent
-Fast, brief-driven execution — you can take a copy brief and turn it into finished, on-brand visuals without heavy art direction

Nice-to-haves
-Familiarity with Klaviyo (helpful for handoff, not required)
-Landing-page / conversion UX experience
-Experience with PDP / A+–style product infographics
-Comfort designing across social, ads, or other DTC surfaces

How we work with you
-Fully remote, but we need real-time overlap — you should be in GMT+8 or later
-Flexible engagement: we care more about landing the right person than about a rigid contract shape. We'll start light and scale up if it's a strong fit
-Direction, copy, and strategy come from the team — you'll always have a brief

Hiring process
1. Application + portfolio (portfolio is required — no portfolio, no review)
2. Short intro conversation
3. Paid trial task: we'll give you one of our current email s plus our brand bible, and ask you to redesign it to the ARDANT standard. This is the real test — it shows us your taste, your email instincts, and your hands-on craft in one go.

How to apply
Send your portfolio (email design work front and centre) and a short note on your eCommerce email experience. Applications without a portfolio won't be reviewed.
