SEO Specialist for Local Service Businesses (Part-Time / Freelance)
We're a group of small, local service businesses in Eastern Iowa (stump grinding, roofing, garage doors) looking for someone who knows local SEO and can help us show up when nearby customers search for our services.
What you'd be doing:
Improving our Google rankings for local searches (like "stump grinding near me" or "roofing contractor Eastern Iowa"), optimizing our Google Business Profiles, improving our website ( ---------- ) for search, building local citations and reviews strategy, and giving straightforward monthly reports on what's working.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience getting results for small or local businesses (show us examples), knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization, basic website/on-page SEO skills, and someone who communicates in plain English — not jargon.
Details:
Freelance or part-time to start, flexible hours, remote OK. Potential for ongoing work across multiple businesses if it's a good fit.
