Item Sourcer (Alibaba Sourcing Specialist)

Overview
We are expanding its sourcing team and is looking for another high-performing Item Sourcer like Daniel Legaspi VI. We are seeking someone with proven experience sourcing products through Alibaba and working directly with Chinese manufacturers. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying reliable suppliers while negotiating competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Source products primarily through Alibaba and other Chinese supplier platforms.
• Research and identify qualified manufacturers and wholesalers.
• Compare pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lead times, and shipping options.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Verify supplier credibility and manufacturing capabilities.
• Prepare sourcing reports and supplier comparisons.
• Coordinate with internal teams throughout the sourcing process.
• Maintain supplier relationships and provide recommendations for future sourcing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience sourcing products through Alibaba.
• Experience communicating directly with Chinese manufacturers.
• Strong supplier negotiation skills.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Previous procurement or product sourcing experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
