Rank-and-Rent / Local Lead Gen SEO Operator

We are looking for a long-term SEO / local lead generation operator who understands rank-and-rent, Website Landlord style websites, Digital Landlords, Unemployable-style local lead generation, and local service business lead generation.

This is NOT a generic virtual assistant job.

We are building and scaling a portfolio of local lead generation websites across home services and local service niches. We currently have around 60 sites coming online and plan to scale to 200+ sites.

We want someone who can help us build, organize, optimize, and manage the full system.

The right person should be able to learn fast, take on new challenges, work with deadlines, and complete tasks independently without needing constant handholding. The owner may not check in every day and may sometimes go 1–2 weeks without checking in, but tasks will still need to be completed correctly and on time.

You must be comfortable researching, solving problems, and figuring things out on your own when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Building and editing local lead-gen websites
• Creating city + service landing pages
• On-page SEO for local service websites
• Title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, internal links, schema, and image alt text
• Finding and adding realistic royalty-free images
• Cleaning up AI/template content so sites sound natural
• Google Business Profile / GMB setup and optimization
• Helping with GBP approval processes
• Setting up and organizing CallRail numbers
• Tracking calls, forms, leads, and rankings
• Managing a spreadsheet/dashboard of all websites
• Building citations and local directory listings
• Helping with backlink outreach and link tracking
• Monitoring Google Search Console and indexing
• Using Ahrefs or similar SEO tools to review competition, backlinks, rankings, and keyword opportunities
• Using or learning NicheFinderPro to evaluate cities, niches, and ranking opportunities
• Identifying which sites are ranking, getting calls, or need improvement
• Helping build outreach lists of contractors/business owners
• Communicating with potential renters/buyers of leads
• Creating SOPs so the process can scale

You do not need to know every tool perfectly, but you must be a fast learner. If you do not know Ahrefs or NicheFinderPro yet, please explain how quickly you can learn new tools and give an example of a tool or system you learned on your own.

This will start part-time, but can 100% grow into a full-time role for the right person. We are looking for someone organized, reliable, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to operate independently.
