Senior Shopify Operations & Retention Specialist

We are an established, fast-growing US Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand looking for a Senior Shopify Operations & Retention Specialist.

This is NOT a general Virtual Assistant role, an entry-level administrative job, or a developer/coding position. We are hiring an experienced, execution-focused e-commerce specialist who will work directly under our E-commerce Lead to handle the daily management and optimization of our Shopify store, subscription workflows, cross-sells, and retention marketing campaigns.

If you are a high-level operator who excels at cleanly executing retention strategies, managing app integrations, and keeping e-commerce workflows running flawlessly, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Shopify Store Operations: Handle daily store setups, product updates, landing page builds (using page builders), and app management under the direction of the team lead.
• Subscription Management: Build, maintain, and execute subscription offers and retention workflows using Recharge.
• Cross-Sells & Upsells: Configure smart carts and upsell offers via Rebuy to support AOV optimization goals. Assist with price testing setups (Intelligems experience is a plus, but not required).
• Email & Retention Execution: Build, schedule, and test campaign flows inside Klaviyo (segmentation, lifecycle email s, and automation maintenance) based on marketing strategy.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with leadership to spot technical friction points across the funnel and implement fixes quickly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven DTC Experience: Minimum 2+ years working directly with US-based e-commerce brands on Shopify operations.
• Tech Stack Mastery: Deep, hands-on technical proficiency with Shopify Admin, Klaviyo, Recharge, and Rebuy.
• Execution Excellence: Strong attention to detail; able to take strategic direction from leadership and implement it with minimal errors.
• Team Player: Thrives working in a structured environment alongside marketing leads and directors.
