Community & Social Media Growth Assistant (Part-time)

We are looking for a proactive, creative and reliable Community & Social Media Assistant to support a growing health and wellness business based in Australia.

This is a part-time remote position (10 hours per week). We are looking for someone who enjoys building genuine online relationships, creating engaging content and helping grow an online community and Instagram followers numbers.

Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Instagram engagement (approximately 1 hour per day)
Responding to comments and direct messages using our brand voice
Building genuine relationships with followers and potential clients
Identifying and engaging with our ideal audience through Instagram
Inviting suitable people to our free community when appropriate (never through spam)
Supporting engagement within our WhatsApp community
Creating or editing simple social media posts, reels and stories using Canva and/or CapCut
Repurposing existing content into different formats
Researching trends, hashtags and content ideas relevant to health, weight loss, gut health and menopause
Suggesting ideas to improve our Instagram growth and engagement
Assisting with simple social media scheduling and content organisation occasionally
Providing a short weekly report with insights, follower growth, engagement and recommendations
This is not simply a posting role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building communities, starting conversations and helping people feel welcome.

Potential for an increase in working hours once gained experience on the job

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience growing Instagram accounts organically
Writes fluent, natural English
Is warm, friendly and enjoys communicating with people
Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
Is proactive and enjoys suggesting new ideas rather than simply following instructions
Has experience using Canva and/or CapCut
Has an interest in health, wellness or personal development
Pays close attention to detail
Is committed to long-term growth and becoming part of our team
