Short-Form Video Editor for High-Energy Wedding/Event Band (Part-Time, Ongoing)

We're a premium Austin, USA-based wedding and event band scaling our social media. We're looking for a talented short-form video editor to turn our live-performance footage into high-energy, scroll-stopping clips for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook , and Google Business Profile. This is an ongoing, long-term role for the right person, starting with a fun launch project.
Start date: August 1, 2026.
Launch project (August): We have a large library of past performance footage. Your first job is to cut 15–20 high-energy montages from that back catalog. Each should be:

Fast-paced and beat-driven — packed dance floors, crowd energy, the band going off.
Built to carry a voiceover (we add the VO after you deliver), so keep the music mixed to sit under a voice and on-screen text minimal.
Delivered as clean masters (no burned-in captions) in both vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9).
Roughly 30–60 seconds each.

Ongoing (from September 8): A light, steady cadence of about 2–3 new edits per week, each delivered vertical + horizontal for cross-posting to all five platforms.
What we provide: access to the full clip library (Google Drive), brand and creative direction, music direction, and the voiceover + final captions on our end.
What we're looking for:

A portfolio of short-form/social edits (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), especially high-energy montages.
A strong sense of pacing, beat-syncing, and music selection.
Reliable, fast turnaround and clear communication.
Some overlap with US Central time for check-ins.
Bonus: wedding, live-music, or event editing experience.
