Your Typical Day
Organize and maintain project financial and compliance documentation.
Support the preparation of monthly construction draw requests.
Communicate with contractors to collect invoices, lien waivers, and documents.
Update budgets, change order logs, and payment tracking sheets.
Coordinate with lenders, accounting, and project managers as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
1) Loan & Draw Support
Compile lien waivers, invoices, schedules, and supporting docs for draw packages.
Compare cost reports to contracts, change orders, and lender requirements.
Track soft costs (architect, engineering, inspections, interest, title, etc.).
Prepare clear, organized submission files for lenders.
2) Construction Financial Administration
Maintain digital project files (contracts, pay apps, insurance, permits, payrolls).
Track executed change orders against pay apps and budgets.
Monitor buyout logs, completion schedules, and compliance documents.
Follow up with contractors until documentation is accurate and complete.
3) General Coordination & Reporting
Maintain trackers, logs, and internal reports.
Prepare agendas, notes, and status reports for project meetings.
Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Handle confidential financial data with discretion.
What We’re Looking For
2–4+ years in project accounting, construction admin, or loan/draw processing.
Familiarity with construction draws, budgets, or lender compliance preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and document management tools (Procore/Built/Buildertrend a bonus).
Extremely organized, detail-accurate, and accountable to deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working for a US construction company or real-estate developer
Nice to Have
Experience in real estate development or affordable housing.
Knowledge of construction accounting.
Experience with billing using AIA G702/G703 forms.
Degree in Accounting, Construction Mgmt, Business, or related field.
