What to Expect During Our Hiring Process
We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term relationship with our team, so we’ve designed a hiring process that gives both of us the opportunity to determine whether we’re a great fit.
Step 1: Application Review
We’ll carefully review your resume, writing samples, AI experience, and attention to detail, including whether you’ve followed all application instructions.
Step 2: Video Interview
Selected candidates will be invited to a 20-30 minute video interview where we’ll discuss your experience, your writing process, how you use AI, and what you’re looking for in your next opportunity.
Step 3: Paid Writing Assignment
Finalists will complete a paid writing assignment based on one of our actual customer article briefs. Every finalist receives the same assignment so we can fairly evaluate writing quality, research ability, editorial judgment, organization, attention to detail, and your ability to improve AI-generated content.
Step 4: Final Interview
We’ll review your writing assignment together, discuss your editorial decisions, answer any remaining questions, and determine whether we’re the right fit for each other.
Step 5: Welcome to the Team
If selected, we’ll introduce you to our editorial workflow, AI-assisted writing process, and content standards so you can begin contributing with confidence.
