Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer who can do more than just code.
We’re searching for someone who can analyze successful competitor stores, identify why they convert well, and implement similar concepts (without copying) to improve our Shopify store’s performance.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who understands both development and e-commerce conversion optimization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze competitor Shopify stores and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Improve our Shopify store based on data and best practices.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build custom sections and features.
- Optimize product pages, collection pages, homepage, and checkout experience.
- Improve website speed and mobile performance.
- Implement A/B testing ideas and conversion improvements.
- Fix bugs and maintain the store.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Shopify development.
- Excellent knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience analyzing competitor websites.
- Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
- Experience improving user experience (UX) and customer journey.
- Ability to think strategically, not just technically.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Experience with Meta Ads landing pages.
- Knowledge of heatmaps (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.).
- Experience with analytics and data-driven optimization.
