About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Operations to lead operations across a fast-growing ecosystem of brands spanning creative services, coworking, content production, community programming, experiential events, and digital education.
This is not an administrative or entry-level operations role. We are looking for a senior operator who can transform vision into execution, build scalable systems, improve profitability, and lead high-performing teams across multiple businesses.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in operations leadership and project management, with a strong background in marketing and hands-on experience managing or supporting a marketing agency environment. Candidates must also have proven success overseeing teams, projects, and company operations in a fully remote setting.
You will serve as the operational leader responsible for bringing structure, accountability, and strategic execution across all brands while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

The Bakery Cowork – A female-focused coworking and content ecosystem
The Icing Agency – A full-service creative and experiential marketing agency
Creamery Studios – A production, event, and podcast studio
Gurl Mobb – A digital membership and community platform for women entrepreneurs
Gurl Mobb Museum – An immersive brand and community experience designed to empower and connect women entrepreneurs
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, project management, or senior leadership roles.
Previous experience as a Director of Operations, Operations Manager, COO, or similar leadership position.
Strong background in marketing, digital marketing, or agency operations.
Experience working within or overseeing a marketing agency is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success managing teams, systems, and company operations remotely.
Proven ability to oversee multiple departments and business units in a virtual environment.
Proven ability to build SOPs, workflows, and operational systems from scratch.
Strong understanding of financial metrics, profitability, and business performance.
Advanced proficiency in project management platforms such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar tools.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to make difficult decisions and drive accountability across teams.
