Video Editor for US Startup - Weekly YouTube + Shorts/Reels (Long-term, Part-time)

Salary: $250–350/month (part-time, ~15 hrs/week, paid per weekly batch)
$550/month (full-time)
We're Cenvi, a US event-technology startup in Atlanta. Our founder creates weekly video content - comedy skits, talking-head explainers, and interviews for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook . We need one reliable editor to own the entire weekly edit.
Your weekly batch (every week, same structure)
- 1 long-form YouTube video (5–10 min) from raw footage + our edit notes
- 1 3 minute skit filmed weekly
- 3–4 vertical cuts (30–60 sec) from that video for Shorts/Reels/TikTok, with styled captions
- Export still frames for a carousel
- Add our intro/outro audio sting and end-card to everything
Requirements
- Cinematic Editing Experience (CapCut Pro, Premiere, or DaVinci preferred - your choice)
- Strong short-form caption skills - stylish, well-timed captions are 50% of this job
- Good comedic timing — you'll be cutting skits, and the joke lives in the cut
- Reliable weekly turnaround: raw footage Thursday ? full batch by Monday
- Good English comprehension (you'll work from written edit notes)
Nice to have: thumbnail design, basic sound design/music ducking
