About the Role

About Exponential Oaks

Exponential Oaks is a web development and digital marketing agency specializing in websites, SEO, and paid ads for health & wellness businesses — med spas, wellness centers, chiropractic and functional health practices, and beauty/aesthetics brands. We're currently building out our presence across Georgia, starting in the Coweta, Fayette, and South Fulton County region before expanding statewide.

Our current client portfolio includes health & wellness brands like CMI Health, Aura Health, Function Health, and Total Esthetics, alongside select projects in other industries. We build fast, modern, high-performing websites (React, Next.js, Vercel) and pair them with real marketing systems — not just a pretty site with no way to generate leads.

We're a small, fast-moving team (founder + software engineer currently), looking to bring on specialists who can own their channel end-to-end and grow with us as we scale.

About the role

Note: the Requirements section below is what actually matters for applying — everything under "Nice to have" and "Other marketing channels" is upside, not a checklist you need to fully match. If you meet the core requirements, apply even if you don't have every extra skill listed.

You'll own both SEO and paid advertising for our health & wellness clients and our own agency growth — Google Business Profile, technical/local SEO, Google Local Services Ads, Search Ads, and Meta (Facebook /Instagram) Ads. This is a combined role for someone comfortable working across both channels rather than specializing deeply in one. You'll be executing against a documented playbook and existing tracking setup, not building strategy from scratch.

Responsibilities

SEO (roughly 50%)

Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (categories, service areas, posts, photos, Q&A)
Keyword research and on-page SEO for health & wellness search terms
Technical SEO maintenance: meta titles/descriptions, Open Graph tags, sitemap.xml, ---------- markup
Local SEO strategy across Georgia service areas, starting hyper-local (Coweta/Fayette/South Fulton)
Review generation strategy and execution

Paid Ads (roughly 50%)

Set up and manage Google Local Services Ads (LSA) for eligible clients
Build and manage Google Search and Meta (Facebook /Instagram) ad campaigns
Monitor and optimize budgets, bids, and targeting based on conversion data
Work with existing case-study assets (Total Esthetics, CMI Health, Aura Health, Function Health) to build ad creative
Maintain and troubleshoot conversion tracking (GA4, Google Ads tag, Meta Pixel)

Both

Combined monthly reporting — rankings, traffic, GBP engagement, ad performance, and cost-per-lead in one view

Requirements

Experience with both SEO and paid ads for local/small businesses — doesn't need to be deep expertise in each, but real hands-on exposure to both
Familiarity with Google Business Profile, Google Ads/LSA, and Meta Ads Manager
Comfortable with GA4 and basic conversion tracking concepts
Strong written and spoken English
Comfortable working async, self-directed, against documented SOPs and KPIs
Health & wellness, med spa, or beauty industry experience a plus

Nice to have / Extra skills

Basic copywriting — ad copy, GBP posts, landing page headlines/CTAs
Familiarity with HubSpot (forms, workflows, contact/deal pipeline) — we use it for lead tracking
Basic email marketing experience (Mailchimp or similar) — nurture sequences, review request campaigns
Canva or basic graphic design — ad creative, GBP photo posts
Social media posting/scheduling experience (Instagram/Facebook business pages)
Review management — responding to and encouraging Google/Facebook reviews
Basic competitor research — identifying what's working for other local health & wellness businesses
Comfortable in Google Sheets/Excel for reporting and tracking
Google Tag Manager — more robust tracking setup than a basic pixel install, useful as we add more conversion events
Awareness of healthcare/medical advertising policies (Google and Meta both restrict certain health-related ad targeting and claims) — relevant given clients like CMI Health and Function Health
Basic conversion rate optimization (CRO) / A/B testing concepts — headline, CTA, and landing page testing
Local citation/directory management (Yelp, Healthgrades, Vagaro, and other wellness-specific directories beyond Google)
Short-form video basics (Reels/TikTok-style content) — high-performing format for beauty/wellness before-and-after and behind-the-scenes content
Landing page builder experience (Unbounce, Webflow, or similar) — helpful even though our core sites are custom-built
Experience managing multiple client accounts/campaigns simultaneously without mixing up budgets or reporting
AI-assisted content creation (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for scaling ad copy, GBP posts, and blog content across multiple clients without sacrificing quality
Familiarity with Google's AI-driven campaign types (Performance Max) — increasingly relevant as manual campaign management becomes less effective
No-code automation tools (Zapier, Make) — ability to connect our lead capture, CRM, and email systems into repeatable workflows without needing a developer for every change
Looker Studio (or similar) for building reusable, scalable reporting dashboards as we add more clients
Awareness of AI/generative search behavior (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search) and how it's changing traditional SEO — sometimes called answer engine optimization or generative engine optimization
Automated review request tools (SMS/email-triggered) — helps the review-generation responsibility scale without manual outreach per client

Other marketing channels/disciplines that would benefit us

Beyond core SEO and paid search/social, exposure to any of these is a plus — they're channels we may expand into as we scale:

SMS marketing — appointment reminders, promotions, and review requests; a strong fit for spa/wellness booking behavior
Content marketing/blogging — educational content around treatments and services, supports both SEO and patient/client trust
TikTok Ads — beauty and wellness content performs especially well here; a natural extension of the short-form video skill already listed
YouTube/video ads — longer-form before-and-after, testimonial, or educational content
Geofencing/location-based mobile ads — targeting nearby mobile users, useful for hyper-local service areas
Local partnership/referral marketing — cross-promotion with adjacent local businesses (gyms, salons, wellness-adjacent retailers)
Influencer/micro-influencer marketing — local wellness and beauty influencers for authentic reach
Marketplace/directory advertising — Yelp Ads, Nextdoor Ads, beyond organic directory listings
PR/local media outreach — local press, community features, and earned media
Event or pop-up marketing — open houses, community events tied to client locations
