???? YouTube Video Editor Wanted

We are looking for a skilled video editor to join us for a new English-language YouTube channel producing long-form documentary content.

What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention and viewer behavior
• Ability to edit 25–35-minute documentary-style videos
• Experience working with archival footage, photographs, newspaper clippings, and similar visual materials
• Ability to research and select visuals that accurately support the narration
• Strong storytelling instincts—not simply placing clips one after another
• Ability to use basic animations, maps, zooms, motion graphics, and visual effects when needed
• Sufficient English proficiency to understand English voiceovers
• Awareness of copyright rules and YouTube policies
• Reliable communication, consistent delivery, and interest in a long-term collaboration

Our goal is not fast-paced or overly distracting editing. We are aiming for a clean, professional, engaging documentary style with strong visual storytelling.

Carefully selected archival footage, smooth pacing, and regular visual changes that maintain viewer attention will be especially important.
