Construction Project Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break (12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time)
Salary: $1,200 per month

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support our residential construction team. This role is responsible for coordinating projects from pre-construction through execution by communicating with vendors and suppliers, obtaining pricing, assisting with material procurement, tracking project progress, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on experience using Buildertrend. Experience reviewing construction plans or drafting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily project activities to help ensure construction projects remain on schedule.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and stores to obtain pricing, product availability, and project-related information.
  • Request and compare vendor quotes for materials and services.
  • Assist with material ordering and coordinate deliveries to meet project timelines.
  • Track project progress and follow up on outstanding tasks with vendors and internal tea ---------- mbers.
  • Manage projects, schedules, documentation, and workflows using Buildertrend.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and project documents to support project coordination activities.
  • Assist with preparing project documentation, proposals, and reports as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings and project-related communications between internal tea ---------- mbers, vendors, and clients.
  • Maintain organized records using Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
  • Provide administrative support for project management and perform other coordination tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Previous experience in construction project coordination, project administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience working in the residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement industry.
  • Required experience using Buildertrend.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Experience obtaining vendor pricing, coordinating material orders, and tracking project progress.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans is preferred.
  • Experience with drafting or reviewing residential construction plans is a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude with strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Note: An NBI or police clearance will be required upon acceptance of the job offer.
