About Practicare

Practicare is an AI-powered operational platform designed specifically for Australian medical practices. We help practice owners and managers streamline operations, improve compliance, reduce risk, and gain complete visibility across their practice.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Sales Development & Lead Conversion Specialist who is passionate about turning prospects into qualified sales opportunities.

About the Role

This is not a data entry or lead generation role.

Your mission is to identify prospective medical practices, engage decision-makers, build relationships, overcome initial objections, qualify opportunities, and convert prospects into booked demonstrations for our sales consultants.

You will become the first impression of Practicare and play a critical role in our sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Research

  • Identify Australian medical practices that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Research Practice Owners, Practice Managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain high-quality prospect lists.

Lead Engagement

  • Contact prospects through phone, email , LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
  • Introduce Practicare and clearly communicate its value.
  • Build rapport and establish trust with decision-makers.
  • Ask discovery questions to understand current challenges.
  • Handle common objections confidently and professionally.
  • Nurture prospects through multiple follow-ups.

Lead Qualification & Conversion

  • Qualify leads based on agreed sales criteria.
  • Move prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Convert interested prospects into booked product demonstrations.
  • Ensure appointments are confirmed and attended.
  • Follow up with no-shows and inactive prospects.
  • Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.

CRM Management

  • Keep all prospect interactions updated in the CRM.
  • Track communications, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activity.
  • Share customer insights and market feedback.
  • Identify new opportunities within the Australian healthcare market.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who can sell conversations—not just make calls.

You should have:

  • 2+ years in Sales Development, Business Development, Appointment Setting, Inside Sales, or Lead Conversion.
  • Outstanding spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Confidence making outbound calls every day.
  • Strong objection-handling and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience working with sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience selling SaaS or software solutions.
  • Experience selling into Australian businesses.
  • Healthcare or medical industry experience.
  • Experience using Zoho, or similar CRM platforms.
