About the Role
We are a growing medical practice looking for a Remote Patient Care Coordinator to support the administrative side of patient care. This is not a clinical role. You will handle scheduling, billing support, insurance verification, and patient communication so our in-office team and providers can focus on delivering great care.
This role is essential to how smoothly our practice runs day to day, from the first phone call to the follow-up after a visit.
This role works US business hours, which fall during the night in the Philippines. Please only apply if you are able to work a consistent night shift long term.
Core Responsibilities
Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar, confirm upcoming visits, and handle rescheduling requests professionally and promptly.
Insurance and Billing Support: Verify patient insurance eligibility, assist with prior authorization requests, and support billing follow-up on outstanding claims.
Patient Communication: Handle inbound and outbound calls, email s, and messages with patients regarding appointments, results follow-up, and general questions. Warm, patient, and professional communication is essential.
Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system. Keep documentation organized and up to date.
Follow-Up: Track and follow up on incomplete tasks such as missing forms, pending lab results, or unconfirmed appointments so nothing falls through the cracks.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
1 or more years of experience in an administrative, customer service, or coordination role (medical or dental setting preferred but not required)
Comfortable learning a new practice management or EHR system quickly (we will train on our specific platform)
Strong written and spoken English
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment on a night shift schedule
Organized with good attention to detail
Preferred:
Direct experience with a practice management or EHR system such as Cerbo, Dentrix, Epic, or athenahealth
Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization processes
Familiarity with medical billing terminology and workflows
Previous experience working a night shift or graveyard schedule for a US-based company
Soft Skills We Care About:

Compensation and Details
Full time, 40 hours per week
Remote from the Philippines
Night shift hours aligned to US business hours
Pay range: $5 to $7 per hour depending on experience
