SEO Specialist (WordPress + Search Atlas/OTTO)

We're a Canadian web design + SEO agency serving local businesses. We're looking for one reliable person to take full ownership of SEO execution across our client accounts, so it runs smoothly without constant oversight. You'll work primarily inside Search Atlas / OTTO (we'll train you on the platform) plus WordPress.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Running and monitoring OTTO SEO deployments across client sites (titles, meta, schema, internal links, alt text)
• Reviewing and approving held items (like header rewrites) inside Search Atlas
• Keyword rank tracking setup and cleanup
• Google Search Console monitoring (striking-distance keywords, indexing issues, traffic dips)
• On-page + technical SEO fixes in WordPress / SEOPress
• Local SEO tasks (Google Business Profile, NAP consistency)
• Simple monthly client reporting

MUST HAVE

• 2+ years hands-on SEO (on-page, technical, local)
• Comfortable in WordPress
• Strong with Google Search Console and rank tracking tools
• Detail-obsessed, you catch small errors before they ship
• Clear written English, reliable communicator
• Able to work independently and hit deadlines

STRONG PLUS (not required, we'll train)

• Experience with Search Atlas / OTTO
• SEOPress, GTM, schema markup
• SEO for local service businesses (wellness, trades, tourism, fitness)

DETAILS

• Full-time, 40 hrs/week
• Starts at $5 CAD/hour, with increases based on performance
• Long-term role, we want someone to grow into fully owning this
