We're a small Canadian digital marketing agency looking for a Google Ads and Local SEO specialist to join our team on a flexible basis. This isn't a "follow the checklist" role — we need someone who thinks, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about getting results for clients.
What you'll be working on:
Managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, occasionally other formats)
Local SEO work — GMB optimization, citations, local rankings
Reporting and flagging what's working and what isn't
Communicating clearly with our team (async, mostly via Basecamp)
You're a good fit if you:
Have real hands-on experience with Google Ads and Local SEO (not just certifications)
Can manage your own work without being micromanaged
Notice problems and fix them without waiting to be asked
Like learning — you follow industry changes and actually apply them
Communicate well in writing
You're not a good fit if you:
Need constant direction to get things done
Disappear when something gets tricky
Treat Google's best practices as gospel without thinking critically
How we work:
Small team, remote, async-first. We use Basecamp to stay organized. You'll have real ownership over your accounts and be treated like a professional.
Hours: Flexible — part-time to start, with room to grow.
