Legal Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our growing property management team. This role will provide administrative support for our UK legal and leasehold operations, ensuring property transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with our legal and estates teams, solicitors, and other internal departments to coordinate leasehold sales, ownership transfers, and legal documentation. Strong organisational skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing management packs, including responses to LPE1 enquiries.
Preparing and issuing Certificates of Compliance, receipting Notices of Transfer, and issuing Share Certificates.
Liaising with the Estates team to respond to solicitors' enquiries.
Calculating completion apportionment figures.
Updating ownership records and completing transfers on the property management system.
Preparing and issuing welcome letters and statements of account to new leaseholders.
Preparing and issuing Landlord Certificates.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Providing general administrative support to the legal and property management teams as required.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. Previous experience in legal administration, property management, or conveyancing would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
