MEAN Stack Developer (Angular 16–22)

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time or Contract
Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Compensation: Competitive salary paid bi-weekly

Working Hours

Daily Stand-up: 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM PHT
Core Collaboration Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM PHT or 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT depending on department/team requirements
Preferred Availability: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM PHT for occasional overlap with the America-based team
Remaining working hours are flexible based on project needs

About the Role

We're looking for a MEAN Stack Developer with strong experience in Angular (v16–22) and working knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

This role focuses on building modern, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end development using Angular. You will collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features while contributing to backend services when needed.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, writes clean and maintainable code, and is confident delivering production-ready features with minimal regressions.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development (Primary Focus)

Develop modern, responsive web applications using Angular 16–22
Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components
Translate UI/UX designs into clean, functional interfaces
Implement responsive layouts using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern front-end practices
Integrate REST APIs and manage application data flows
Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and usability
Maintain consistent UI quality across browsers and devices

Back-End Development
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
Build and integrate RESTful APIs
Work with MongoDB for data modeling and database operations
Troubleshoot and support backend functionality when needed

Engineering Practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Test and validate changes before submitting Pull Requests
Identify potential issues and prevent regressions before deployment
Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers through Agile development workflows
Continuously improve application quality and development processes

Requirements
3+ years of professional MEAN Stack development experience
Strong experience with Angular 16–22
Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, Reactive Forms, Signals, and Routing
Experience building reusable Angular components and scalable front-end architectures
Strong understanding of component-based design, reusable components, SCSS architecture, BE ---------- thodology, and SCSS Mixins
Experience integrating REST APIs into Angular applications
Working knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and MongoDB
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
Ability to independently review, test, and validate your own work before submitting Pull Requests
Confidence delivering production-ready code while minimizing regressions
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

Back-End: Prisma, MySQL, JWT/OAuth
Experience writing unit tests (Jasmine, Karma, or Jest, Vitest)
Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical feedback
