Civil 3D / AutoCAD Drafter for U.S. Civil and Structural Projects

I am looking for a full-time Civil 3D and AutoCAD Drafter to help me with civil and structural drafting projects for my growing engineering and construction practice in Tennessee.

I need someone who can take my sketches, markups, field notes, or verbal instructions and turn them into clean, complete, and professional drawing sets. This role is best for someone who is accurate, organized, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

You will prepare civil drawings such as site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections. You will also prepare structural drawings, sections, details, and connection drawings for steel and timber frame projects.

You will help me build and maintain Civil 3D and AutoCAD templates, title blocks, layer standards, sheet setups, and project file structures. You will organize project files, track drawing revisions, and make sure every drawing set is clean, complete, and ready for review.

You will coordinate with me daily on project updates, questions, deadlines, and missing information. I need someone who will flag unclear details early instead of guessing.
