Social Media Manager + Virtual Assistant — Dubai Food Startup — $1,000/mo Full-Time

RoomService is a Dubai startup. We give families their own private chef — fresh, personalised meals cooked at mealtime and delivered hot. We launch our first kitchen this year. You will be our first marketing hire, working directly with the founder.

THE JOB — 4 PARTS

1. SOCIAL MEDIA (your main job). Plan the content calendar. Write captions. Design simple posts yourself (Canva or similar). Schedule and post. Reply to comments and DMs. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook .

2. WORK WITH CREATORS. Brief our graphic designer, AI video creator and UGC creators, and check their work.

3. VIRTUAL ASSISTANT TO THE FOUNDER. Scheduling, research, coordination — part of your daily routine.

4. SIMPLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Answer basic customer messages on the company WhatsApp during your working hours. Simple work, and temporary — until we hire a dedicated support person. This is also part of your daily routine.

THE RULES — PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ACCEPT ALL OF THESE

• Salary: USD 1,000 per month
• Full-time and EXCLUSIVE — no other clients or jobs
• Working hours: 1:00pm–10:00pm Manila time, Sunday–Thursday (Dubai business hours)
• You accept doing the VA work and customer service described above — it is part of the job every day
• Independent contractor. Paid monthly by Wise. 13th-month bonus after 12 months. Confidentiality + IP agreement before you start. 30-day paid trial period.

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF

• You have 2+ years running social media for a brand — food or health brands are a big plus
• You can design basic posts yourself and edit simple videos (Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or similar)
• You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.)
• Your written English is excellent
• You genuinely care about food, healthy eating or fitness

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: shortlisted candidates get a small PAID test task (a sample content calendar). The best then interview with the founder.
