Solar Engineer (Australia)

We're on the lookout for an experienced Solar Engineer Admin to join our fast-growing offshore team. If you're passionate about the Solar industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to work alongside some of Australia's leading solar companies.

You'll play a critical role behind the scenes, helping installers and businesses deliver seamless solar and battery projects by managing approvals, compliance, and project administration.

Job scope

• Residential & Commercial Solar Administration
• Process STC applications and manage compliance documentation
• Submit and track Grid Connection pre-approvals and connection applications across Australian DNSPs
• Upload and maintain documentation across multiple DNSP portals
• Manage commercial metering coordination where required
• Support battery approval processes and documentation
• Ensure batteries are correctly reflected in DNSP approvals and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Coordinate commissioning evidence and compliance documents
• Work closely with installers to resolve approval or documentation issues
• Compliance & Project Coordination
• Maintain accurate job records across multiple client systems
• Send customer handover packs using platforms such as Pylon and OpenSolar
• Liaise professionally with Australian installers, electricians, office teams, retailers, STC traders, DNSPs, and customers
• Track project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or compliance issues

This role is suited to someone who already has experience supporting Australian solar companies.

Strong knowledge of:
Grid connection applications
Commercial STC processing
Australian DNSP portals
Commercial metering coordination
Export limits and DNSP pre-approval requirements
Solar and battery systems
Clean Energy Council (CEC) compliance requirements

Essential Experience in:
Supporting projects across multiple Australian states
High-volume residential and commercial installs
CRM platforms such as Pylon, OpenSolar, ServiceM8, or similar
Providing excellent customer service while managing technical solar administration
