Finance Professional / Senior Accountant – Langley, BC, Canada (CPA or Equivalent)

About the Role
We're a growing group of companies based in Canada, looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting background who wants to work directly with a North American business, take ownership of financial processes across multiple entities, and grow into a long-term role.

Who You Are
You hold an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) and have hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle for a business. You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and verbal, and you're comfortable working independently while coordinating with a team across time zones. Experience supporting Canadian or North American companies is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and perform account reconciliations
• Manage financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Review and support payroll processing
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for management review
• Manage accounting across multiple operating companies
• Coordinate closely with our Canadian accounting team
• Maintain accurate records using cloud accounting software

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent accounting designation
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar cloud accounting platforms
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities/deadlines
• Experience with Canadian accounting/tax processes is a strong asset
