The Role
We’re looking for a freelance Meta & TikTok Ads Assistant to help execute and maintain our paid social campaigns.
This is an execution-focused role, not a strategy or ownership position. You’ll be working inside an existing system, bringing creative ideas to life quickly and accurately.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing short-form ad copy for Meta & TikTok (primary text, headlines, hooks)
- Adapting copy into multiple tones (performance-led, cheeky, emotional, UGC-style)
- Uploading ads into Meta Ads Manager & TikTok Ads Manager
- Setting up creatives using existing naming conventions and structures
- Making light optimisations as you train up (e.g. duplicating ads, swapping copy, pausing underperformers — with guidance)
- Keeping campaigns organised and tidy
- Communicating clearly and proactively via Slack
Hours & Availability
- Freelance role
- Approx. 10 hours per week
- Availability across all days including weekends (as required — not fixed shifts)
- Hours may flex depending on launches, testing, or scaling periods
This role suits someone comfortable with async work who can check in most days, even briefly.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have hands-on experience with Meta ads and/or TikTok ads
- Enjoy writing concise, scroll-stopping ad copy
- Understand performance basics (hooks, CTR, creative fatigue — practically, not theoretically)
- Can follow direction closely and execute quickly
- Are organised and detail-oriented inside ad accounts
- Communicate clearly and ask questions when needed
- Like dogs (Staffies = very strong bonus ????)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with eCommerce or DTC brands
- Familiarity with UGC-style or native social ads
- Experience working inside another brand’s ad systems or SOPs
