About County Sports

County Sports is a North Carolina high school athletics media company. We create visually compelling sports content that celebrates student-athletes, teams, families, schools, and local communities throughout the state.

Our content reaches a highly engaged audience and generates hundreds of millions of views each year across social media. In addition to covering high school athletics, we help local businesses connect with their communities through sponsorships and advertising placed within County Sports graphics.

We are looking for talented creative partners who can help us produce professional sponsor mock-ups quickly, accurately, and consistently.

About the Opportunity

This is a per-gig graphic design and AI content creation opportunity.

Approved designers will work from a pool of available assignments. Each assignment will include information about a prospective business, such as:

Business name
Website
Phone number
Address
City
County Sports graphic template
Design instructions
Required image dimensions

Your job will be to research the business, understand its brand, and create a polished sample advertisement showing how that company could appear as a sponsor within County Sports content.

The primary goal is to create an advertisement that is visually impressive enough to help our sales team start a conversation with the prospective sponsor.

What You Will Do

For each assignment, you will:

Review the business information provided.
Visit and research the company’s website and public online presence.
Identify its branding, colors, services, audience, offers, and strongest selling points.
Use the provided County Sports template without changing the sports information.
Use ChatGPT and graphic design tools to create a professional sponsor mock-up.
Add the business advertisement to the designated sponsor area.
Confirm that all names, phone numbers, websites, addresses, and other details are accurate.
Export the graphic in the required dimensions and file format.
Upload the completed graphic into our system.
Make reasonable revisions when requested.

Most projects will involve adding a custom sponsor banner to the bottom of a 1080 × 1350 vertical sports graphic. Some assignments may also require a matching full-page advertisement.

Design Expectations

The finished work should be:

Eye-catching and scroll-stopping
Professional and commercially usable
Consistent with the sponsor’s real branding
Easy to read on a mobile device
Accurate and free of spelling errors
Visually integrated with the County Sports template
Completed without changing rankings, athlete information, team names, logos, or statistics
Delivered according to the assignment instructions

The best candidates will understand how to combine AI image generation with traditional graphic design judgment. We do not want generic AI output. Every graphic should look intentional, polished, and appropriate for the individual business.

Required Tools and Equipment

Please do not apply unless you have reliable access to all of the following:

Your own dependable computer
Reliable high-speed internet
A paid or capable version of ChatGPT with image-generation access
Graphic design software such as Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Photopea, Affinity, or similar
The ability to resize, crop, compress, and export images
A private and professional workspace
Reliable file storage and organization
The ability to research businesses online
The ability to work independently without constant supervision
Availability to complete assignments during varying hours
The ability to communicate clearly in written English
The ability to follow detailed instructions exactly
The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
A backup plan for internet or power interruptions whenever possible

Experience creating sports graphics, sponsor advertisements, social media carousels, restaurant ads, dental ads, automotive ads, medical ads, or local-business marketing materials is a strong advantage.

Do not invent claims, awards, pricing, locations, offers, or business details.

A beautiful graphic with incorrect information cannot be used.

Work Volume and Earnings Potential

This is not a guaranteed hourly position. Designers will be paid per approved assignment.

There may be approximately 100 to 200 assignments available each week across the creator pool, depending on sales activity and business demand.

Designers who consistently produce accurate, attractive work and meet deadlines may receive a large volume of assignments. This opportunity could become very lucrative for fast, dependable creators, but assignment volume is based on performance, availability, and current demand.

More complex projects or matching full-page advertisements may be paid differently from standard sponsor-banner projects.
