About the Role

We're a fast-scaling US skincare/wellness brand spending heavily on Meta and TikTok every month. Our ads are the engine of the business — which means the editor who cuts them is one of the most important people on the team.
We're looking for ONE elite editor. Not a generalist. Not a wedding videographer learning ads. Someone who already lives and breathes direct response.
WHAT YOU'LL EDIT:

AI UGC ads — assembling AI-generated talking-head clips (Seedance, Kling, Veo outputs) into native-feeling TikTok/Meta ads. You'll stitch segments, clean transitions, add captions, b-roll, and product shots so the final ad looks like a real creator filmed it on a phone.
VSL-style ads — longer-form direct response (60s–5min): hook, lead, mechanism, proof, offer. You understand pacing that holds retention, not pacing that looks cool.
Iteration velocity — taking a winning ad and cutting 5–10 hook/opening variations same day.

YOU'RE A FIT IF:

2+ years editing DIRECT RESPONSE ads specifically (Meta/TikTok DTC ads — show us, don't tell us)
You know what a hook rate and hold rate are and edit to move them
Fast: a 30–60s UGC ad in 2–4 hours, not 2 days
CapCut Pro AND Premiere Pro (or DaVinci) — both, fluently
Comfortable working with AI-generated footage: fixing seams, matching color/audio across generated clips, hiding AI artifacts
Native-quality captions, sound design, and pattern-interrupt cuts are second nature
You take a script + raw assets and deliver finished ads without hand-holding

BONUS POINTS:

Experience with skincare/beauty ads
You've used Kling, Veo, Seedance, Runway, or similar
Basic motion graphics (before/afters, benefit callouts, review overlays)
You've worked with US/AU DTC brands spending $50k+/month

WHAT YOU GET:
