About the Role

We’re Samako, a fast-growing e-commerce brand from the Netherlands. With over 100,000 happy customers and strong traction on Bol, Amazon, and our own webshop, we’re building a new standard in the cleaning space. Our customers love us for our clever products and exceptional service — and we’re now looking for a full-time Customer Service Assistant (40 hours per week) to help us take that to the next level.

You’ll be working directly with our Dutch customer service lead and play a vital role in making sure our customers get the quick, helpful, and friendly support they deserve.

What’s in Store for You?

This is a remote, full-time role with a shift-based setup. Coverage from 7 to 4 pm or from 2 pm till 11 pm Dutch hours, and availability on Sundays is a must.

Onboarding will take place during office hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) throughout the first month.

We value quality over volume. We’d rather you take a bit longer and give an excellent answer than rush through tickets. You’ll be representing our brand, so tone, care, and clarity are key.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, sharp, and takes pride in great communication. Ideally, you:

  • Have experience with customer service (e-commerce is a plus)
  • Write and speak excellent English, clearly and professionally
  • Are available for full-time work (40 hours/week) and can work Dutch office hours as well as evenings and weekends
  • Communicate empathetically, calmly, and professionally, even when a customer is upset
  • Are proactive and like solving problems on your own
  • Are comfortable using tools like Gorgias, Bol, Seller Central, and Shopify (or are quick to learn)
  • Are detail-oriented and comfortable handling refunds, returns, and tracking issues
  • Can collaborate well with others and clearly hand off tasks or updates

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to customer messages via Gorgias and platform inboxes (Bol, Amazon, Shopify)
  • Help customers with product questions, delivery issues, and returns
  • Escalate or flag tickets to our Dutch support lead when needed
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to resolve delivery problems
  • Ensure that every customer feels helped, heard, and happy
