Remote Accountant (CPA / ACCA) – $800- $1,000 USD per Month + 28 Paid Days Off

Full-Time | 100% Remote | UK Business Hours

We're looking for a qualified accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting for two established UK businesses.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping accurate financial records, maintaining clean reconciliations, and producing reliable financial information. You'll work closely with senior management and become a key member of a small, professional team.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
• Process receipts, payments and journals.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payment runs.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with year-end accounts.
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and help improve financial processes.
• Receive training to assist with UK legal client accounting procedures.

Requirements

Essential

• Qualified CPA (Philippines), ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification accounting experience.
• Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience preparing VAT or equivalent tax returns.
• Experience using cloud accounting software (Xero preferred).

You must also have:

• Reliable high-speed internet.
• Backup internet and power.
• A quiet home office.
