About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Recruitment Screener to join our team, supporting the fast-paced recruitment of industrial labour hire staff across manufacturing and warehousing sites throughout Australia.
In this role, you'll be the first point of quality control in our recruitment pipeline — reviewing incoming resumes against job descriptions, shortlisting suitable candidates, and identifying who should progress to a telephone screen before being put forward to our clients for interview. You'll help ensure only well-matched, work-ready candidates move through our process, keeping our clients' sites running with reliable, capable staff.
What You'll Be Doing
Reviewing resumes and applications against job descriptions for a range of industrial roles (e.g. process workers, forklift operators, pickers/packers, machine operators, general labourers)
Assessing candidates against key criteria such as relevant experience, licences/tickets, availability, and location
Shortlisting suitable candidates for telephone screening and then screening them further on the phone
Flagging candidates who don't meet minimum requirements and documenting reasons
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date candidate records in our recruitment system (training provided)
Working closely with recruitment consultants to understand role requirements and client preferences
Managing a high volume of applications while maintaining strong attention to detail
Ensuring a fast turnaround time to keep pace with urgent, high-volume labour hire demand
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or high-volume administration (blue-collar/industrial recruitment experience highly regarded but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly assess resumes against criteria
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident using software, training provided
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, common industrial roles, licences, and tickets (e.g. forklift licence, White Card, RSA/RSF, etc.)
A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
