I am looking for an experienced Allied Health Virtual Assistant to support Australian healthcare professionals with administrative, patient support, and practice management tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working remotely with Australian allied health clinics.

Key Responsibilities
Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and calendar coordination
Handle inbound and outbound patient communications professionally
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Process referrals, intake forms, care plans, and administrative documentation
Assist with billing, invoicing, Medicare, DVA, or NDIS-related administrative tasks where applicable
Coordinate with clinicians, patients, and external healthcare providers
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations
Requirements
Previous experience as an Allied Health Virtual Assistant supporting Australian healthcare providers (essential)
Experience working with allied health practices such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, chiropractic, podiatry, exercise physiology, or similar
Proficiency in Australian practice management software such as Halaxy, Splose, Cliniko, Nookal, Power Diary, Best Practice Premier, or equivalent
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused approach
Nice to Have
Experience supporting NDIS, Medicare, DVA, or WorkCover clients
Knowledge of Australian healthcare administrative processes and compliance requirements
Experience with medical transcription, clinical documentation, or healthcare reception
Previous remote experience supporting Australian allied health practices
