About the Role

Job Description

Harvard Brook Cabins is looking for a creative Content & Marketing Assistant to help grow our social media presence through engaging lifestyle content.

This role is focused primarily on creating engaging lifestyle content for social media rather than designing promotional graphics or advertisements.

Our goal isn't to sell cabins—we're selling the experience.

Responsibilities
Review and organize raw videos and photos stored in Google Drive.
Create 2–3 short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts) each week.
Create a few supporting photo posts.
Write engaging captions using ChatGPT or other AI tools when appropriate.
Schedule content using Metricool.
Maintain a simple content calendar in Google Sheets.
Organize content files in Google Drive.
Help identify potential influencers for future collaborations.

Most of the content you'll work with will come from raw videos and photos captured by guests, influencers, or our team. A big part of this role is selecting the best footage and turning it into engaging social media content.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands lifestyle marketing.

Our editing style is intentionally simple and natural. Rather than heavily edited promotional videos, we prefer authentic, relaxing lifestyle content with good music, clean transitions, minimal text, and storytelling that highlights the experience of staying at our cabins.

We want people to stop scrolling and think:

"I want to be there."
