Job Overview
We are looking for a Lead Interior Designer to take ownership of design projects from concept through completion.
This role requires someone who is both creative and organized. You will lead design projects, guide junior designers, and work closely with project managers and clients to bring each property to life.
Most of our projects are short term rentals, so designs must be visually appealing, durable, and guest friendly.
This is a remote role. We prefer someone who can overlap with US working hours. Preferred hours are 8 AM to 5 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design process from concept to final installation across multiple projects.
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
Create layouts, floor plans, and 3D models.
Source furniture, decor, lighting, and materials suitable for high use rental properties.
Review and guide the work of junior designers.
Ensure designs align with the project vision, timeline, and budget.
Prepare design packages and product selections for procurement.
Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams.
Provide direction for staging and final setup before property photoshoots.
Stay updated on design trends relevant to vacation rentals and hospitality.
Design Tools and Software
Candidates should have experience with or willingness to learn the following tools
SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Google Drive, Google Slides, Notion, Pinterest, Loom

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
5 or more years of interior design experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects.
Experience leading design projects and working directly with clients.
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, and presentation tools.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Comfort working remotely with a distributed team.

Preferred Experience
Experience designing short term rentals or hospitality spaces.
Experience mentoring or managing junior designers.
Experience sourcing furniture and materials for high traffic properties.
Experience staging properties for real estate or vacation rental photography.
