Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer who is excited to grow their skills and gain hands on experience working on real design projects.
In this role, you will support our design team with mood boards, sourcing, layouts, and presentations. You will work closely with our lead designers and project managers while learning the full process of designing high performing short term rental properties.
This is a remote position. We prefer someone who can overlap with US working hours. Preferred hours are 8 AM to 5 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior designers in developing design concepts for short term rental properties.
Create mood boards and visual presentations for client review.
Assist with space planning and layout development.
Prepare floor plans and basic 3D models.
Research and source furniture, lighting, decor, and accessories.
Organize product links, pricing, and specifications for procurement.
Support the design team with presentations and documentation.
Stay updated on design trends and inspiration, especially in hospitality and vacation rentals.
Design Tools and Software
Candidates should have experience with or willingness to learn the following tools
SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Google Drive, Google Slides, Notion, Pinterest, Loom

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
1 to 2 years of design experience or internship experience.
A portfolio that shows your design thinking and creativity.
Basic knowledge of space planning and interior styling.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Comfort working remotely and collaborating with a team.

Preferred Experience
Interest in short term rental or hospitality design.
Experience creating mood boards and presentations.
Basic experience sourcing furniture and decor.
Interest in staging spaces for photography.
