We're a local SEO agency that helps home-service and local businesses dominate their maps and local search results. We run a tight, systems-driven operation: clear SOPs, modern tools, and AI in the workflow. We're not looking for someone to reinvent the wheel — we're looking for a reliable right hand who can run our proven playbook across a portfolio of clients, keep every account moving forward, and flag problems before they become fires.
The role
This is a semi-autonomous account assistant role. You won't just execute one-off tasks — you'll own the day-to-day health of a set of local SEO client accounts. We'll train you on our systems and give you SOPs for everything. Once you're ramped, you'll run recurring work on your own, spot issues, and only pull us in when something needs a real decision. If you like ticking boxes, hitting deadlines, and seeing rankings climb because of work you kept on track, you'll do well here.
What you'll own
Google Business Profile & local listings
Optimizing GBP listings (categories, services, descriptions, photos, geo-tagged posts)
Building and cleaning up citations / NAP consistency across directories
Managing and responding to reviews inside GoHighLevel (using our approved response prompts/templates)
Monitoring listings for suspensions, edits, and spam, and flagging issues fast
Content & on-page SEO
Managing our content assignment pipeline in our master content sheet (assignments, due dates, statuses, final URLs)
Coordinating page builds and publishing (service pages, service-area pages, blog posts)
On-page optimization: titles, meta, headers, internal linking, image alt text, schema basics
Quality-checking content and page layouts before they go live
Reporting & client communication
Running rank tracking and pulling monthly performance data
Assembling clean, on-brand client reports from our templates
Drafting client update email s and answering routine client questions professionally
Keeping a clear record of what was done for each client each month
General account & admin
Keeping our project boards, spreadsheets, and folders organized and up to date
Managing recurring task calendars so nothing slips
Light inbox / scheduling support
Keeping our tools and logins tidy and documented
A typical week
Monday you review every account and line up the week's tasks. Midweek you're publishing content, updating GBP listings, and responding to reviews. Toward month-end you're pulling rank data and building client reports. Throughout, you're checking the master sheet, updating statuses, and messaging us with a short daily or end-of-week summary of what got done and what needs a decision.
What we're looking for
Must have
1–3+ years of hands-on local SEO or SEO VA experience (agency experience a big plus)
Ability to interface with clients via text, email , or phone to coordinate onboarding, gather assets/logins/credentials, and keep them updated on progress as needed
Direct experience with Google Business Profile optimization and management
Understanding of link-building, link outreach, and citation directories
Comfortable in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) — this is where our work lives
Solid written English; you can write a professional client email and clean on-page content
Detail-obsessed and deadline-driven — you don't let things slip
Self-managing: you can take an SOP and run with it without hand-holding
Reliable high-speed internet, a capable computer, and a quiet place to work
Available during full US Pacific Time (PT) business hours — roughly 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific, Monday–Friday. This is a hard requirement; please only apply if you can reliably work these hours.
Nice to have
Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL)
Experience with no-code automation (Make, Zapier)
Familiarity with rank trackers, citation tools, and AI content/site tools
Experience managing multiple client accounts at once
